Biscuits
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 tbsp baking power
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
5 tbsp cold butter
1 cup of milk
Directions:
Preheat oven to 415 degrees.
Process/combine all dry ingredients.
Place in a big bowl. Pour in milk.
Mix through with a fork / roughly.
Form a dough ball.
Using parchment paper or surface, sprinkle flour.
Dust dough ball with flour and fold it into itself. Pat dough flat to 1 or 2 inches. (This determines thickness of biscuits.)
Keeping surface floured, don’t over fold.
Using a little glass or biscuit cutter, press directly down into dough. No twisting.
Re-fold scraps again and continue cutting out biscuits.
Place biscuits on an ungreased cookie sheet or baking pan.
Bake for 10–15 mins.
